8 Ch. Audio Distribution Input Panels

8 ch. audio distribution input panels take advantage of the modular concept of Link’s audio distribution systems for the assembly of stage boxes tailored to the customers’ exact requirement. All distribution input panels are constructed with heavy duty aluminum and adhere to the high quality standards of all Link products, featuring high quality Neutrik XLR sockets.

Standard 8 ch. audio distribution input panels feature a ground lift switch for each channel and a further PCB (AD Link) connected on “switch out” to set each channel in parallel to three ribbon cable connectors. The unit features a second ribbon exit called “direct out” dedicated to the mixer to assign the phantom power.
The ground lift switch on the panels acts only on “Switch out”, providing ground separation to the second output (Direct Out) which can be used to assign the 48 Vdc phantom power on each channel.

8 ch. audio distribution input modules are available in two versions: the AD 8 IN and the AD 8 IN 8 J, with eight Combo connectors allowing XLR input (balanced signals) or, on request, a jack plug (unbalanced signals). The unbalanced signals are balanced by transformers.
