The AD Split modules have been purposely engineered for highly professional applications. They provide a clean split signal thus maintaining the same quality in multiple outputs over long distances. Each input channel is divided by the AD Split module into 4 outputs, two are physical parallel, with and without Ground disconnection (Ground Lift). The other two are individually split by high quality triple-shielded transformers.
The Groung Lift switch on the AD 8 IN acts as "switch out", providing Ground separation to the second parallel output (Direct Out) which can be used to assign the 48 Vdc Phantom power on each channel.
